GUIDE · AIunipedia Community
A useful AI writing workflow begins with a real brief and ends with human editorial judgement. Producing more text is not the same as producing something ready to publish.
A clear prompt brief helps preserve your voice; a separate fact-checking step helps catch unsupported claims before you publish.
Build a reusable brief
State the reader, purpose, key facts, tone and desired action. Supply a short sample you have permission to use if it genuinely represents the voice you want. Identify phrases, claims and stylistic habits to avoid.
Ask for an outline or a short first draft before a long piece when the direction is uncertain. Review the structure before spending time polishing sentences that may later be removed.
Edit in separate passes
- Check whether the piece answers the actual brief.
- Verify names, dates, figures, quotations and external claims.
- Remove repetition and vague promises.
- Read aloud for rhythm and natural phrasing.
- Check that the call to action makes sense for the reader.
Keep a record of recurring corrections. Turn those into clearer instructions or a small evaluation checklist. Do not promise that a particular style will pass every AI detector; the practical goal is accurate, useful writing you can stand behind.
Compare the workflow
Measure the editing effort and quality of the finished piece, not merely the speed of draft generation. Use the same brief when comparing approaches.
