QUESTION · AIunipedia Community
AI terminology grows quickly, and a useful dictionary needs clear editorial judgement as well as more entries. This thread is for suggesting terms that would help people understand real AI work.
Not sure which idea is missing? Compare the AI foundations guide with the terms you encounter at work. If an existing entry needs repair, use the definition-correction template instead of creating a duplicate request.
A good term suggestion includes
- The term and common abbreviation or alias.
- A proposed plain-language definition.
- A concrete example showing when it matters.
- Its relationship to terms already in the dictionary.
- A primary reference where the meaning can be checked.
- Any ambiguity or disagreement readers should know about.
Avoid treating every vendor feature name as a general technical concept. A product can be important without its marketing label needing a dictionary entry. If a term has competing definitions, explain that rather than presenting one interpretation as settled fact.

Suggestions are contributions for editorial review, not automatic additions. Include your reasoning so another member can improve or challenge the definition constructively.
We want the dictionary to serve someone encountering a term for the first time and someone needing a precise distinction during a project discussion.
